Aug:19 1900hrs Calgary
So we arrived in Calgary about half an hour ago. Now we had something to eat in Central City (i.e. downtown), and walked around a bit. Nav had just found out that a friend he lives up north with his husband, ON A FARM! We are going to stay up there with them. The town they live in is called Olds? Weird and strange, but exciting.
Nav has a lot of photos from other places we have crossed. They are pretty brilliant. Ananthy has taken some too, and wicked videos! The drive from Sask to Alberta was pretty damn beautiful. I quite enjoyed it. The maximum km/h is 110. Wicked sauce? I think so. ^.^
It’s currently 9pm back home, 7pm here. We definitely are a bit jet lagged, but with all the random passing out we have been doing in the 7+ hour car rides, sort of makes up.
I know I said that Ananthy would update on Manitoba’s Riding Mountain National Park (about the really kind police officers, and the random pot heads, and the beautiful waves, and morning, and evening..etc), and Manitou Beach in Saskatchewan (the crazy mineral water, the rock quarreys and jewel mines, the really kind Ukranian people, the good wine, and perogies, and the awesome Russian man that came there for some healing of some injuries with his three cats). But she is a bum, and won’t do it!! So I suggest you all scold her, kthanks. ^.^
I’m very happy! Tomorrow we get to meet some more friends, and we will be entering the United States of the Americuh.
